MarsupialsThree of the Sanctuaries Kangaroos

The Sanctuary provides a safe haven for a number of free roaming Eastern Grey Kangaroos. These Kangaroos have the run of the bushland in and around the Sanctuary and are not restricted in their movement in the local area. The Kangaroos are most active early in the morning and in the late afternoon, but can often be found eating or lying around the Sanctuary.

Other Marsupials in the Sanctuary include three Red Kangaroos who make their home with the Sanctuary Deer. These red Kangaroos are happy to be hand fed if you approach their enclosure, and like most Kangaroos, are often spotted sleeping during the middle of day. There are also a variety of Wallabies at the scrub, some of which love to be hand fed.
